Hello!  We are the Salthouse family.  We are pilgrims and strangers for Jesus, in this strange land we call America.  We have decided to make this blog in order for folks to be able to get to know us and to share our lives with our friends.  We seek to glorify God by proclaiming boldly what He has done and is doing in our lives when we let Him. It is some people's business to use blogs and other such publications to quietly ask for financial support. We do not want you to send us money.  Rather, we would prefer that you see an example of lives following Jesus and His commandments, get encouraged and/or convicted, give up the pleasures of this life, and follow Him.  Please feel free to share with us, as well, that we too may continue on His narrow path.
